Today, you’ll journey to Lake Manyara National Park, set against the dramatic backdrop of the Great Rift Valley. Known for its incredible wildlife spectacle, the Serengeti is known for its migration of over 1.5 million wildebeest and countless zebras. Witness the raw beauty of nature as these animals bravely cross crocodile-infested waters, giving birth to over 8,000 calves each day.
Following another delicious african breakfast, dive deeper into the wilderness with a full day of game driving along the Great Migration trails. This is mostly when you visit during migration time. Descend into the crater, home to a rich variety of animals including lions, zebras, buffalo, and the rare black rhino. With its stunning scenery and dense concentration of wildlife, the Ngorongoro Crater offers an exceptional safari experience, you will have time to check the crater outside and inside with a safari vehicle.
After breakfast, transfer to Arusha Airport for your flight to Zanzibar. Depending on your flight schedule, this day’s itinerary is flexible. You may leave morning or day time.
Rise early for an extraordinary day with the Hadzabe tribe, one of Africa’s last true hunter gatherer communities. Immerse yourself in their daily activities, whether it’s joining the men in hunting or the women in foraging. After this incredible cultural experience, visit the tranquil Lake Eyasi before returning to Arusha city.
This day is fun, you will start your day with walking safari, explore the vibrant village of Mto wa Mbu, where you’ll join a Maasai cultural experience. Witness traditional Maasai dancing and gain insight into their daily life. Later, return to Arusha for a delicious lunch and an overnight stay at a cozy hotel.
Venture to Materuni village, nestled at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro, for a refreshing day exploring the area’s natural beauty. Hike through lush farms and forests to reach Materuni Waterfall, a towering 70-meter cascade of glacial water. Along the way, enjoy breathtaking views of Moshi and Mount Kilimanjaro. After a scenic day, return to your hotel.
On your final morning, enjoy a leisurely breakfast before transferring to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure. If you’re not quite ready to say goodbye to Tanzania.
